Barcelona has been incorporated into the European Network of Authenticities

The SPTO and the Barcelona City Council have signed an agreement for the incorporation of the city into the European Network of Authentic Cities. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the value of industrial property and the negative impact of the purchase and sale of counterfeit products.

As a member of this network, Barcelona City Council is committed to carrying out activities such as a public awareness campaign, educational activities in schools, institutes and universities, and training activities for the agents of the local police. The SPTO has committed to the City Council to provide all the necessary collaboration for the organization of these actions and will provide the initiative's logo and educational material on the fight against counterfeiting.
