Cooperation agreement between the SPTO and the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country in matters of Industrial Property

On March 5, 2023, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (OEPM) and the General Administration of the Autonomous Community of Euskadi signed an agreement whose purpose is to establish a collaboration framework between both institutions to disseminate the technological information subject to registration, as well as to promote greater and better knowledge, protection and observance of industrial property rights in the Autonomous Community, and carrying out, to this end, the activities to combat the counterfeiting of industrial property rights that are considered appropriate.

This agreement is the result of continuous work for the citizens carried out by the different administrations, to bring industrial property closer to everyone and encourage its proper use by companies and entrepreneurs.
