Selective course of the Scale of Senior GraduatesOn 23 September, the selective course for the Scale of Senior Graduates of Autonomous Bodies of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism in the specialty of Industrial Property and Metrology began. After passing the competitive examination phase, the 29 candidates were appointed as probationary civil servants, thus initiating a new phase of the selection process. The first day was inaugurated by the Undersecretary of Industry and Tourism, Pablo Garde, who congratulated the participants for having passed the competitive examination phase, ‘an intense and tough process that will allow them access to two institutions with deep roots and of international reference, such as the Spanish Metrology Centre (CEM) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO)’. Also taking part in the start of the course were the Deputy Director of Human Resources Planning and Management, Nieves Aliagas; the Director of the SPTO, Elisa Rodríguez; and the Director of the CEM, José Ángel Robles Carbonell. The Industrial Property specialty of the Scale includes three different branches: a technical branch that covers a mechanical, an electrical and a chemical area, an IT branch for the management and support of Industrial Property procedures and a legal branch.
