Poster contest awards ceremony "Emprende con marca" 2017/2018

We have had the pleasure of cooperating with the ESIC Business & Marketing School on this contest organization.

Sign that is made or put on something or someone to stipulate a distinction or to indicate quality or belonging. This is what the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language tells about the term trademark on its first entry. If we continue our investigation consulting the expression registered trademark this is the result: factory or commercial mark registered by the competent authority and therefore legally protected. Here there are several concepts that shape our Office leitmotiv: trademark, quality, register and legal protection.

At the SPTO we have had the pleasure of cooperating with the ESIC Business & Marketing School on this contest organization, as part of our constant work to increase the awareness of the importance that brand protection has for entrepreneurs and SMEs. This 2nd edition has had a direct slogan which translation would be 'Undertake with trademark ESIC-SPTO'. On this occasion, students from different degrees of the business school presented their point of view in 16 pieces; from it a total of 9 made it to the final and 4 of them were awarded. These are the winners:

• 1st prize: Carlota Lario, Victoria Morán and Santiago Moyano, 3rd year of Publicity studies.
• 2nd prize: Julián Alonso and Hugo Poutet, 3rd year of Publicity studies.
• 3rd prize (ex aequo): Leticia Buendía, 3rd year of Communication and PR studies at the ESIC Valencia / Ricardo Alonso, Sandra Pérez, Álvaro Crespo and Cristina López-Granda, 3rd year of Publicity studies.
