Reduction on the designation fees for International Designs in SpainThe applicable fee decreased from level 3 to level 1 If you are considering presenting a request for the International Design Register, we have good news for you. The SPTO Director General has notified the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) that Spain wants to take away the declaration regarding the designation fees applicable to this type of requests. If you are wondering how it can concern you, you should know that past January 26th the applicable fee decreased from level 3 to level 1, aligning the designation fee with the national request. Putting it in figures, the designation fee for a request that contains 10 designs declined from 540 to 60 Swiss Francs, which is a little more that 52€. We think that it will make the Hague System for the International Design Registration more attractive for you... We expect that it will help you to proceed!
