Counterfeiting and Piracy: Issues and ChallengesThe Observatory of the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has published a brochure summarizing the risks, threats and results achieved so far related to the fight against counterfeiting and piracy of industrial and intellectual property rights. This document provides useful information to support the continuation of IP crime as a priority in the new EMPACT policy cycle (the European Multidisciplinary Platform against Criminal Threats). With this publication, the SPTO disseminates the publications and supports the actions of the EUIPO Observatory aimed at achieving the common goal of continuing to consider industrial property crime as a priority in the framework of EMPACT.
