European Industrial Property Forum - ANDEMA

The Association for the Defense of the Trademark (ANDEMA), together with the SPTO, organized a forum on industrial property with the aim of analyzing the situation of industrial property in Europe.

This event included round tables and presentations on open and secure digital space, trademark defense, the fight against counterfeiting, the challenges of AI and the prevention of trademark vulgarization.

Also, in addition to other personalities, the event was attended by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, who stressed that defending industrial property is essential to successfully achieve the goal of completing the fourth industrial revolution. The Minister also stressed the strategic nature of industrial property protection as a guarantee for opening up to new investment markets, and for Spanish companies to be able to compete on an equal footing with the strongest and most internationally recognized companies.

The protection of industrial property, the defense of the trademark, the promotion of innovation and creativity, are main objectives in the industrial strategy of our country.
