Launch of the new podcast "Marchamos"The “Marchamos” podcast is a new project of the the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (SPTO) in the framework of the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of its name. Through this state-of-the-art format, the Office updates its communication tools, in the case of an institutional communication program on the issues developed by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. In this way, the SPTO is launching its own program in podcast format, with the title: Marchamos. In this program, presented by José Antonio Gil Celedonio and Miriam Verde Trabada, the latest national and international news on industrial property, patents, trademarks, technology, innovation and other topics of interest in the sector are reported monthly in Spanish, and in a dynamic but rigorous format. The first episode was released precisely on June 30, World Social Media Day. In this first episode we talk about medical-health patents with Ana Martínez Gil, CSIC researcher and winner of the award for the best invention protected by industrial property rights in its 1st Edition, about the value of technological information with Carmen Toledo de la Torre and with Jesús Gómez Montero, former Lawyer of the SPTO, on the latest in European jurisprudence on trademarks, as well as the current situation of the SPTO.
