Holidays and counterfeitsAt last the moment of the deserved rest has arrived. Now that we are allowed free movement we begin to move to vacation spots and, especially this summer, due to the evolution of the pandemic in foreign countries, holidays are going to be enjoyed mostly within our country. We take this opportunity to remember some of the advice we publish in the GUIDE TO SAFE TOURISM For many people, a vacation includes relax, eating out, and shopping too! Street vendors often meet us, or you can go to one of the local markets, which are full of colorful products like scarves, bags, watches, and electronics of all kinds. They have it all, and at a price that can be hard to resist. But keep in mind that in many cases the products are fake. Before, most fake products were luxury products (e.g. expensive handbags), but today products of all kinds are counterfeited, from toys, batteries and perfumes to medicines. HOW TO AVOID FALSIFICATIONS? Some advices:

Legal local businesses must play a role in the recovery of a city that is alive, safe, friendly, multifunctional, commercially fair, socially equitable, culturally diverse and a generator of stable local employment. Is it really worth saving a few euros buying a counterfeit sacrificing a quality product and with all the security guarantees?
